Here's a very condensed version of our what we have been up to.....
- We finished construction on our house remodel and are LOVING our new space! We are slowly saving then filling it with furniture and decor (so fun)....BEFORE & AFTER pics to follow (finally)!
- We have been traveling A LOT to weddings and wedding related events this summer (we're definitely in that stage of life when everyone is getting married) so we've gotten to catch up with lots of good friends and celebrate together! This included cousins Hilary and Shelby....Macey is coming up in November...yippee!
- We had the trip of a lifetime to my sister-in-laws home....ALASKA!!! We packed it full of super cool activities and got to see some of the BEST of God's beautiful creation.
- Wally is doing great at Crownquest in the geology dept., loving his co-workers, learning, and working hard each day. He still gets to enjoy some basketball 3 days a week, play on the Crownquest softball team, a flag football team, and is getting into City League basketball (he really does work, I promise!)
- My business (EMPower Nutrition) has really taken off here in Midland. I am doing a little bit of everything to keep things interesting (personal training, teaching bootcamp, nutrition couseling, and wellness program coordinating). I love my clients and what I am doing, God has truly blessed me here.
- I am involved in Ladies Bible Study at our church where we are studying "What's It Like to be Married to Me?, and Other Dangerous Questions"....highly recommend it....never fails to convict and encourage growth in my marriage and push me to love Wally more each day and serve him well.
- We are loving our small group from church....we meet each Monday night (sometimes for discussion, but always for food and fellowship!) We have some amazing cooks, so needless to say, we always walk away filled... (with the Spirit, and some delicious grub)
- Wally and I are still helping lead youth group at Midland Bible Church....Sunday nights we meet as a big group (7th-12th, girls and guys)...Wally leads worship, we have a speaker, and play some hilarious games. I lead the 10th-12th grade girls small group on Wednesday nights and Wally leads 7th-9th grade boys (fun times...air soft wars, ultimate frisbee, home run derby)...you can be praying for our youth group and MCA and for our friend Matt Slavick to experience God's miraculous healing and His amazing grace and mercy....he was the driver in a tragic accident where 2 students were killed from MCA.
- We are looking forward to Fall....season tickets to Red Raider Football games, cooler weather, and other fun things coming our way!
Enjoy the pictures! Happy Fall....
Love & God Bless, Micah

This is the day David, Wally, and I ran up Mt. Marathon in Seward...an insane climb up to 3,000 ft in about 1/2 a mile or so, slide down a 300 ft snow slide, and then ski/control fall down to the bottom....needless to say I was a little sore the next few days (but I was really the only one who made it to the top, ask David and Wally haha!)

David played at Rock the Desert this year...we sported our David Dunn music Tshirts for support
We got to go back to T Bar M Camp Travis and Wally got to lead worship. We loved it and got to see some great friends, got to see Laney working, and got to love on the little girls (Hallie and Macey Jo) I nannied last year, and catch up with their amazing mom, Kristen (my cov leader when I was a coach)
We got to run to Ruidoso for a weekend with our friends Zack and Shannon and Lars and Anna...Wally had never been to the horse races so we went to the Ruidoso Downs Race Track to watch some races...bet a little....didn't win...
