I hope we can bring just a little bit of JOY to your day with this blog....we're excited to share our lives with you, the people we love the most...read, laugh, relax, live, enjoy, love!!

Psalms 126:2-3 "Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them." The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy."

House Progress....

So here's how the house remodel is coming along....We have everything sheet rocked, textured, and painted!  The lighting is being done today and tomorrow our granite is here....woohoo....so excited....flooring is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday!  It looks totally different and I'm so excited to get to see the finished product.  It looks like a completely different room....we haven't really been staying here, so we will be ready to "move back in".  When we couldn't breathe because of the fumes, and everything had to come out of the kitchen (stove, fridge, sink, pantry items, cookware,  literally we emptied the kitchen)  we decided it was a little bit of a challenge to stay here, so luckily, with family in town, we thankfully got to take refuge at Tim & Terri's house the last week.  Enjoy the pics, hopefully the complete before and after is the next post....cross your fingers (I sure am!)
Appliances gone....this is about to get interesting...
Notice my top priority....coffee pot.....sign of addiction.....maybe....yikes~!
See ya countertops....and any sort of kitchen functionality!

The poor lonely dishwasher.....don't worry, you won't be alone for long (we hope!)
NO R.O. water, washing dishes in the bathtub, oh wait, the dishes are impossible to get to....that's it....we're outta here for a while!

Toxic fumes and massive humidity of joint compound EVERYWHERE, literally every surfacce....my eyes were watering so bad I could barely take this picture :)
Thank goodness for no more pastel yellow, popcorn walls (yes, popcorn walls) and hello to a peaceful, serene light blue (AAAWWWW I feel relaxed already)

Good ole neutral for the rest....
And WAY better lighting....we won't have to turn on 2,347 lamps to have company over and see them at night anymore!! Yippee
